Welcome to a historic school year! Three unique elementary schools have formed this astounding place called Lee Central Elementary School. Historic moments can continue as we embark upon this year of endless possibilities. Parents, you must know how much your child needs you and how our school can benefit from your active engagement. Not only will your child have better academic outcomes, but their behavior and school perspective will also improve because of your involvement. Our student-centered relationship through a powerful school-home connection supports your child’s development. As a product of this Lee community, I know the possibilities your child can have with you in their corner.
At LCES, students will remain our top priority and at the forefront of our work. We make a daily investment because we understand why we do our work. We want you to invest with us, as students will be the direct beneficiaries. Excellence is our standard and part of establishing our school’s culture. It embodies how things are done with an influence on teaching and learning. Teaching and learning are our primary business, with an emphasis on learning. For our students to be competitive in society and become college and career-ready graduates, we must set a firm foundation that can be built upon from year to year to increase the level of readiness from one grade to the next. The staff will work hard to provide your child with rigorous instruction in a safe and engaging learning environment with many opportunities to collaborate and be owners of their learning. We will win if we continuously use our strengths to improve student learning outcomes.
When my career began, I learned some teach and some support those who teach. I was also taught that our human resources are our most valuable resources. Which means you are an integral part of the work of Lee Central Elementary. Please join me and our staff as owners of our school to give your child(ren) what they need to aid in their success. For students to succeed, they must first be in school daily and on time to receive the instructional tools, resources, and supports available. They must be ready to learn and understand the value of active participation in all parts of learning as they set and monitor their goals, making necessary adjustments based on data and feedback. Staying abreast of your child’s progress and utilizing resources and supports available to you and them can promote their growth. Together, let’s help our students create habits that lead to positive academic, social, and emotional outcomes.
Our students must know greatness lives in and comes from Lee County. It comes through hard work, determination, perseverance, commitment, dedication, and parents and educators who want the absolute best life can offer for every student. Our students are why I serve. My drive, passion, and devotion remain because my students and Lee County School District deserve the best - the chance to excel in every stage of their educational journey. I commit to doing my part alongside you and this exceptional staff to help your child reach their fullest potential as they strive for grade-level success.
