Dear Lower Lee School Family,

 

I am thrilled to warmly welcome you as the Principal of Lower Lee Elementary School. My name is Shelia Gamble Stukes, and it is with great enthusiasm that I embark on this journey alongside our dedicated faculty and staff.

With 26 years of experience in education,  I am honored to serve and contribute to the growth and success of our school community. As we embark on the 2023-2024 academic year together, our focus remains steadfast on enhancing student achievement and fostering strong family engagement. Lower Lee Elementary School prides itself on providing quality instruction within a safe, nurturing, and respectful environment. Our vision and mission serve as guiding principles, ensuring that every decision and action is aimed at the holistic development of our students.

 

We have set high expectations and standards for behavior and academic excellence, cultivating an atmosphere of accountability and responsibility. Our collective aim is to instill in our students the values of good citizenship and equip them with the skills necessary to represent their community and heritage with pride.

 

At Lower Lee Elementary, we recognize that parental involvement is integral to a child's academic journey. We encourage you to actively participate in your child's education by communicating regularly with teachers, volunteering your time and talents, and fostering a supportive home environment that values learning.
