Spring Valley High School students did their annual service project, and it warmed the hearts of the Lower Lee family as they chose to adopt our school this year. The team arrived at the school with a Uhaul on Monday evening to prepare for this special event. They “decked the halls” of Lower Lee, and the school looked amazing on Tuesday morning!

All students enjoyed a fun and relaxing day of Polar Express activities in each of their classes. The Polar Express is one of the most adored movies of all time.

The District Office Staff provided a holiday meal for a family this season. LLE selected Mrs. Lucille Dinkins’s family to receive this special gift. Ms. Colston had the honor of presenting these gifts. Congratulations to Lucille Dinkins and her family for being selected to receive these blessings. We all know that planning for the holidays can be a joyous, but sometimes overwhelming task. We hope that this will help ease some of the stress that may come with planning for the holidays. Ms. Dinkins is the grandmother and great-grandmother of several students here at LLE. We hope you have a very, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

We would like to thank the food service team at LLE for providing the students, staff, and community members with a hot, delicious meal to bring in the holiday spirit!

Ladies from Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated Eta Zeta Omega Chapter, provided a special Christmas treat to students in grades preschool through three at Lower Lee Elementary School.
