The students at LLE school learned what bullying is and Mrs. Hunter, our Positive Action Coordinator, gave the students examples during their small group discussions. Mrs. Hunter informed the students that Bullying is when students intimidate other students by calling them names, picking, kicking, and punching them. Students were also told that when they say hurtful words to a person those cruel words cannot be taken back and those words hurt. On October 30th, all the students and staff members signed the "Students Against Bullying Banner." We will all stand against bullying at Lower Lee. The students also received a Bullying bookmark and treat. The 4th and 5th graders were also given Pledge Cards to stand up against bullying.
