The NED assembly program was used to promote kindness and excellence around our school.The students had a great time at the assembly, and they seemed to love that NED is a kid-related character. The performance included yo-yo tricks to get the “NED” message across to our students. Yo-yoing is cool and simple, but it is not always easy. The yo-yo sends the message that we will all make mistakes along the way. Students are told that if they try yo-yoing, and it gets tough; it’s important to learn from mistakes and never give up. Our students had a chance to purchase yo-yos so that they can practice yo-yoing at the designated time and place. What an awesome assembly!
