Red Ribbon Week

This year’s theme was “Send a Message.  Stay Drug-Free.” By staying drug-free, our students are sending a message to their family, friends and loved ones about how much they value themselves, their overall health, and their future.  Our students and teachers participated in the campaign by having different dress-up days of the week.

The goal was to catch students’ attention and make learning about the negative effects of drugs engaging.  Morning announcements were made daily encouraging students to live a drug-free lifestyle. Students and teachers showed their commitment to send a message by participating in the Red Ribbon Door Decorating Contest.   The class with the most overall participation and the door decorating winner will receive a prize. A special thanks to Sheriff Daniel Simon, Mr. Roberson Brown and Bishop Leroy James for serving as our judges for the door decorating contest.  Lollipops and “Just Say No” wristbands were donated by the Lee County Sheriff Department for all students.
