School Uniforms

During the 2010-2011 school year, the Lee County School Board voted that elementary schools in Lee County would implement a mandatory school uniform policy beginning the 2012-2013 school year. Plain khaki pants, skirts, skorts, and jumpers must be worn. Please avoid jeans, denim, hipsters, sweatpants, and pajamas. All skirts/skorts should be no shorter than fingertip length when the student stands straight and places her arms beside her. Pants and shorts must be worn with a belt through the loops. Shirt colors will be royal blue (3rd-5th grade) and light/sky blue (2nd grade).  Shirts can be collared, polo, dress, long or short sleeve. It must be tucked into pants. Uniform shirts are currently available for purchase. Shoes/Sneakers must fit securely on the foot. Shoes with backless or open-toed shoes (including flip flops, sandals, mules, and slides) will not be allowed.
